Really good room & value for money.
Great location in the centre of Harrogate, close to all bars, restaurants and shops. Check in was seamless, our requests were catered for.....high floors and rooms together. The staff member (Betty) on reception was a credit to Travelodge, nothing was too much trouble.Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. A good nights sleep and fantastic value.
Great location but a very alarming experience. Soap dispenser over the bath would not work the room attendant gave us a 1L bottle of " Refreshing foam hand soap " to use instead. I was horrified to read the label it had a Hazard statement warning " causes serious eye damage." And a precautionary statement " wear eye protection" and this was what we were given to use to wash our hair and body with. And this is the product that is in wash basin soap dispenser. Most distressing and extremely alarming.
The room was quiet , clean and perfect for a single person. Check in was an absolute nightmare! 20 minutes! It would be easier to get into 10 downing street! The lady wanted to know the thin end of a fart! Unwarranted security measures when simply using your credit card pin would have sufficed!
Brilliant. 66 for two nights. Central, easy to find, good views, lovely rooms, great helpful staff. Carpark next door.
