Superb hotel. Very friendly staff, lovely bedroom and excellent food. Central position. Excellent place to stay in Harrogate.
Came for a work event, staff very attentive and lovely hotel! Bit odd that for such a lovely environment our lunch was a bowl of sandwiches all lobbed in together, but if you aren't picky like me was all good!
2 night stay - requested a quiet room upon booking, given a basement room directly under the main reception. Very noisy- constant foot steps & printer going off, requested another room at 12:45 to be told it would go quiet at 1am for a short while!! really! Requested another room & was moved at 1am , no sleep that night & had a long day driving the next day. No apology given, I have written to hotel manager but so far no reply. Very poor customer service not a quality hotel when it comes to people management. I will be reluctant to use this hotel chain again due to the poor customer service . I stay in a lot of hotels & this has been the worst for customer service yet.
Friendly helpful staff, beautiful large studio room and Excellent breakfast. However for 200 per night the standard of cleaning is inadequate; lots of dust around skirtings and bed in our room and generally in the hotel lots of mucky finger prints. Decor is very tired in places too. Just needs attention to detail with cleaning and redecorating in places. We had to turn off our radiators and open all the windows just to keep the room a comfortable temperature. Perhaps money from saving on heating could be used on cleaning and decorating. Still a nice stay but wouldnt recommend at that price.
