Very happy with the service. I bought a hand built wheel set for my dawes and was happy with it until it developed a fault after about a 1000 miles. I spoke to the shop and they said they had a problem with a small batch of deore XT hubs. They rebuilt the wheel with a different hub on warranty. Can't ask for more than that. Otherwise the wheels are excellent still running true and feel like they will last many years yet.
I bought an Aire saddle from Spa Cycles just over 2 years ago. A couple of weeks ago the bolt snapped, I emailed Spa and Sam Huby got back to me straight away and agreed to send me a new one this turned up within 2 days. I installed the new bolt then 2 days later the metal bit in the nose also snapped. I emailed Sam again and he agreed to send me a new saddle he didn't even want the old one returning and didn't ask for proof of purchase Top class old fashioned customer services, thanks Sam I'm delighted with the new saddle.Sean Naylor
Spa Cycles are brilliant. I bought a carbon bike from them and loved it. Unfortunately there was an inherent frame fault that cause the gear cable to kink after a while. Spa Cycles recalled these and gave me a generous discount on a new titanium bike that they allowed me to claim ages later. I built a new bike with the parts from the old bike and so now have two super bikes.I always find them helpful and knowledgeable.It is when there is a problem that you find out who really gives good service. A hidden gem of a cycle shop! Went in with a problem with an old vintage bike, not only did the staff help fix the issue, they charged me a fraction of the price that a branded cycle shop had quoted me. Will be my go to shop for all things cycle related from now on.
