We have recently completed a very challenging house sale and purchase with many unexpected challenges encountered along the way. I would like to thank the team at Raworth's for their help, professionalism and indeed patience relating to our house sale and purchase.
I am shocked at how much this place has gone down hill in recent times. Though providing excellent service on a number of previous property purchases and sales, the contrast was stark when I wrote recently to ask for documents to be sent to another firm under the new GDPR rules. The advised deadline under the legislation passed and not even a reminder letter from another solicitor prompted them into action. I rang twice to complain but the person I needed to speak to was not available. Whats worse is that she didnt call back - on either occasion - very unprofessional. I did get to speak to her on my third attempt but though she apologised it soon became clear this person had no knowledge of the deadlines they should have been working to, and failed to meet, nor of their requirements under the legislation - not what you want from a legal firm.Ive now removed my documents from this practice and will not be using or recommending them again. Seems to be suffering from too many changes in personnel. A shoddy showing indeed!
Having had an unsatisfactory experience with one of their solicitors, who sent me a very impertinent and unprofessional email , I took the trouble to email his head of department and the head of the partnership. Neither had the good manners nor the professionalism to acknowledge or respond to my communication. This firm were once highly regarded in the profession locally but sadly do not have their eye on the ball these days.
