I popped in to get a tyre repaired. Unfortunately the problem was actually with the wheel. Staff were quick to diagnose the problem, explain the options and didn't even charge me because they were unable to fix the tyre. I've always had very good service from Halfords.
Took my volvo in for four tyres before a long drive to Brighton. I had a problem, one of the alloys was cracked (probs due to one of Harrogate's many pot holes).Fair enough, they stuck to their guns and refused to put the car back on the road with a cracked wheel for safety reasons, despite my pleading.The manager could of abandoned me but went out his way to ring around to find a company which can alloy weld that day. Thanks to his efforts I was back on the road, made it to Brighton that night and in time to pick up my mothers 80th Birthday cake ready for the celebrations the next day :-)
