ZERO stars! I booked a test drive online. Received confirmation and turned up on the day after driving a hour only to be told that they had no record of the test drive and the car had been sold! Wasted journey and terrible customer service.IN RESPONSE TO LOOKERS - This response from Lookers is completely untrue! I have had NO phonecalls from the General Manager. The ONLY calls I have received have been from your central team repeatedly asking 'how my test drive went', despite me telling them that the test drive never happened! When I came into store for my test drive I was told that you had 'no idea' why it had happened! Now it's a training issue that has been addressed, even though the team who booked the test drive are still calling me asking how it went! This is clearly a copy and paste response to make it look to potential customers like you deal with issues that arise, when it actual fact, you really don't!!
Very poor service. I do not recommend anyone to use this garage. They had my car for over a month to fix the engine, refused any access to a courtesy car, even for the final 2 days when I was desperate with a child in hospital. The engine broke within 500 miles of getting it back on a dual carriageway nearly causing a car to go into the back of me. Lookers initially argued about fixing it even though an independent garage felt the engine had not been put back together properly. Lookers finally fixed it with used parts but have ignored all contact since when I asked them to reimburse the recovery cost (50!). Phone calls and emails often unanswered from day one, head office also ignore emails. Just part exchanged car at Evans Halshaw, they were great, think Lookers could do with some customer care training.
I have been there on 17th of November for a test drive of a Kuga. Everything was fine until I got back home and received a call that if still want the car I should put a deposit until I decide (that is refundable) because there is a lot of interest in the car. Did that through phone. Next day, Sunday I called to tell them that I analysed their offer and I don't want the car. They said, the will refund my money in the next 3 days. 12 days so far and a daily call but no money whatsoever. I do not recommend at all. Worst service ever. - Indeed have been contacted the by the store manager. Everything was solved quick. THANK YOU
I phoned to arrange a test drive phone call was returned a week later I was asked to send in my details so insurance could be arranged girl who was dealing with enquiry said she would deal with it the next day when I phoned to confirm that everything was in place told it was her day off had to ring the following ready to ensure pick up of the vehicle as agreed was told that test drive was now cancelled as car had been sold can only say this is the worst case of customer service I have experienced in over 40 years as a fleet buyer of vehicles would not touch this company with a barge pole had to give 1 star in order to post review
