One of the better Chinese restaurants. Good food. Tastes more like Hong Kong cooking - less canned sauces, more natural (and healthy) compared to mainland Chinese cooking. Good drinks selection. Interior is nice, great place to spend the evening with a loved one.
Fantastic food, massive choice, especially if you like seafood. You can order straight from the menu, but there are set menus too, which are excellent value for the quality and quantity. You will not be hungary when you leave. The restaurant itself is located (as the names suggests) in the royal baths and is one of the nicest in yorkshire. I strongly advise you try it out.
If you like Chinese food this is the place to go.My only complaint I have is I found the staff to be constantly wanting to refill you glass of water/wine as soon as you have drunk a little bit which gets a bit annoying as I want to sit there and relax whilst eating my meal. Otherwise it was excellent.I would definitely visit again.
Pleasant lunch in magnificent surroundings. We found the service good and the staff pleasant. The food was plentiful and flavoursome and even though it was the buffet we tried everything was fresh. We were a little disappointed as outside it says the mains are cooked to order from the menu but this wasn't the case. Everything was on the buffet. Saying that it was probably the nicest we've been to. The sweets were also very good and much better than the usual Chinese buffet standard.
An absolutely disastrous experience!! We went with our friends for a meal as all 4 of us have previously loved the food. The waiter serving us was extremely unhelpful when we asked him to suggest some gluten free options. Once we ordered they got pork spring rolls for my vegetarian friend then with a half hearted apology got a fresh one claiming it to be veg which turned out to be prawn!! More than the inefficiency of the service its the attitude of the staff. When I said its unaccetable and what they could do to resolve this the nutter of a waiter shrugged his shoulders!! Infuriating!! We said we will have to leave and he once again shrugged his shoulders and said your choice. THIS IS THEIR FRONT OF HOUSE. Never giving them our business again. Management has a lot of work cut out on service .wish I could give them minus stars. Sadly even the starters we had begun eating were very mediocre.
