I am writing to say what a fantastic service I received from DSD Removals, it was a pleasure to be moved by them, I heard moving was stressful well NOT with DSD Removals Harrogate. Thank you, I certainly we be recommending your removal services to friends and family.
This is a difficult review to write because I had a bad experience with DSD's front office staff and a great experience with their removals team.When booking the job, I found the service non-committal (wouldn't say what kind of time of day the removal could happen), confused (issued one set of payment terms, then asked for all the money before the move) and downright difficult (demanded a 50% payment to book the job in, but then refused to issue a receipt for that payment).When it came to the move itself, my opinion changed completely. The team were friendly and careful. Stuart even helped me put some beds back together (above and beyond the call of duty) and talked to me about the receipt mess. I felt like a valued customer and my opinion of DSD changed completely.On balance, DSD offer a great removal service, solid reliability and excellent value for money. I encourage them to sort out the front office process because building trust with new customers is crucial to securing the kind of success they deserve, but that said I would recommend them to friends and I would use them again.
