I travelled from Southampton to Harrogate in memory of my late partner to lay some flowers down as it was a year since he passed.he came from Harrogate originally and I felt it was something I had to do.my friend and I found Caine's flower shop by accident really.we walked in and what a lovely quaint shop it is.we were greeted by Caine and what a lovely man himself and his colleague are.i explained what I needed the flowers for (a bit emotional).he went out the back and after a few minutes he brought out this gorgeous bunch of white roses and he had put them in water.i went to pay him and he refused to take my money he said have them on us and have a coffee on us as well.it brought tears to mine and my friends eyes.what an unselfish act to do on two complete strangers.thankyou Caine and colleague there are still some really nice people out there.you really cheered me up on Friday not because you wouldn't let me pay for the flowers but for the compassion you showed us.if I ever come back to Harrogate I will definitely be coming to visit you again.thankyou so much.sandie
