Called so many times and sometimes even waiting for 20 on the phone , even when I get to talk to them they say they cant do an appointment just if I want after two weeks they are very busy even if it was urgent .....very disappointed with the service.
I have been a patient since I was born and the gps who used to be there were fantastic. Now if you ring up you could be waiting up to 6 minutes to get through to reception to book an appointment, then when you get through you have to tell the receptionist why you are making the appointment, which I think is unnecessary, especially when its of a personal nature. If you want to book with a female gp forget it, you could be waiting up to 3 weeks if you are lucky. The newer gps who are there dont read notes from the previous now retired gps so do dont understand the issues of the patients they are seeing, therefore unnecessary hospital appointments and blood tests are arranged, the nurses have even started advising patients to go to Sainsburys for blood tests, why is this?? Why cant patients have blood tests at the surgery?? What has happened to you Dr Moss & Partners, you used to be the best gp practice in Harrogate and you really are letting yourselves down.There seems to be a walk in surgery available now for blood tests so I am assuming my review has been read by the surgery.
This doctors usto be the best not anymore you are on hold for 30 minutes or more just to be told there are no appointments for three weeks to ring back in the morning to be on hold again just wrong you need to change something
I wouldn't normally leave google reviews, but felt I should after seeing the low star rating for this practice as I truly feel it doesn't reflect the practice. I have been a patient from a child at this surgery and find the staff to be very helpful and offer really good advice. I find the doctors and nurses very understanding and empathetic. I have and will continue to recommend this practice. I think most practices cannot offer NON-emergency appts in the same week as I can see people have spoken negatively about appointment times. I have received an EMERGENCY appt on same day before and am happy with the wait for a routine appt - perhaps it helps as I am flexible as to which doctor I see as I have seen a few and all have been great. Would like to say a specific thank you to Dr. Fisher in particular and Dr. Parsonage for their care in the past.
When I saw the star rating for this fantastic practice I was really disappointed. My family and I have been patients here for a very long time, and I cannot recall a time when I was unable to get an appointment or to be treated efficiently and professionally. The receptionist are polite because I am polite, the nurses are kind and the Drs are really very good. Sometimes (rarely in my experience) there are delays in the waiting room, but thats is usually because the dr or nurse needs more time with an earlier patient. As a former nurse I do get irritated with patients who moan and are rude to others if they arent seen on time because I know they dont appreciate how fortunate we are to be able to access health care so easily. Personlly I am very thankful and have always been grateful to the Practice and the team for being there when we need them.
