Poor Customer Service When I arrived to pick up my car it was being hurriedly cleaned. S, it was not ready when I arrived to collect at the time that was booked .In fact, I was waiting for 45 minutes.There was huge emphasis on returning promptly and insurance top ups.The van was washed and I saw it being vacuumed but there was no time to ensure it was clean.The windscreen was filthy.There was no fuel .I had to find a station to refuel straight away instead of doing what I had planned.Worst customer service.
The team at Harrogate were helpful, friendly, kind and professional. They made me feel welcome and listened to my needs and, as far as they could, they worked to meet them. They are excellent.
It was cheap to rent a car, but using a foreign (Dutch) debit card caused the staff to cut all kinds of corners. They wanted to test the card, but that's usually done at the end of the registration process. So everything was skipped (they put a straight line where we were supposed to put our signature) and the payment processed started right away. It succeeded, but we didn't complete the form: it was left as it was.So without any signature, we got a slightly scratched but otherwise fine car (with the fuel yank half full - we had to ask for them to write that down).It was inconvenient they didn't have a children's seat: we had buy our own :(
I have been a customer of enterprise both personally & professionally for several years. Having dealt with different branches, I can verify the Harrogate branch as by far, one of the best.
