It was delightful to speak to Dr Atkinson and I found it reassuring to talk to someone who is passionate about their work and found his knowledge to be second to none. This quaint little shop is exactly what Harrogate needs more of. Long live your local stockists
I visited this wonderful bookshop in Harrogate shortly after it opened. It has the most fantastic display of terrific collectible books. The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful, and I look forward to visiting again with my list of desired books in my hand! Do pay a visit, as there are lovely books to look at, including splendid examples of modern fiction and childrens books.
This is an amazing place full of beautiful and very special books. Its more like a very stylish gallery rather than the normal fusty old bookshop. Its in the fascinating Montpelier area of Harrogate in a mews full of antiques, and its the only place I know selling twentieth century books of this quality outside York. Run by a delightful and helpful young chap who really knows his books, the visit proved very worthwhile and a good purchase was sorted!
Recently opened in Harrogate and is a great find. The perfect place to buy a first edition to add to your collection or to give as a special present. John is very knowledgeable and, as importantly, very approachable if you are a novice in the field of rare books as I am. Well worth a visit when you are in Harrogate. Highly recommend.
I had the pleasure of stumbling across this exquisite book shop in Harrogate. The shop had a lovely laid back feel to it. I was able to speak to the owner who was very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to my next visit and would certainly recommend this amazing little shop to any book lovers out there.
