Oh my what can I say....the food is amazing Yorkshire Tapas is the future. Yorkie wrap with the most succulent braised beef, chips cooked in beef dripping, the biggest onion bhajis I've seen, fried chicken in a lovely crumb and finally ribs! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. If you're ever in Harrogate this is a MUST!
Great small bar / live music venue. Usually a good crowd and decent music. Sunday afternoons are usually a good time.
Great energy, in a warm and friendly pub. If you want a real pub, with good ales (other tipples are available). Loved the music and was sad my visit didn't coincide with the live music. Definitely on my return to list.
Best night out in Harrogate or the UK for that matter! A real friendly atmosphere, and great music and good beer. Also food available upstairs. Haven't tried it yet but I definitely will!
Always loved the place, still have a soft spot for it but the staff let it down slightly, which is a shame. Intimate music venue, great atmosphere. Small in size so you may have to stand, it can get crowded but it adds to the unique style of the place. Definitely worth a visit to watch some of the fab musicians. Would be even better if the staff were more attentive to the non regulars and stopped being to 'cool for school'. Lots of competition out there were staff work hard to keep customers, including management.
